Community Involvement
Michael not only stands out in field of personal injury litigation because of the dedication that he shows to his clients, but also as a result of the actions he demonstrates towards building safer communities to help prevent accidents and injuries. Michael consistently supports charitable events in the communties in which he works - both financially and with his personal time. Below are two recent examples of his ongoing efforts to give back to the groups which are part of his professional life.
TORONTO, Ont., 19 Oct, 2008 -- Two hundred students from Kindergarten to Grade 2 at Nelson Mandela Park Public School in Regent Park were fitted with new bike helmets donated by Cassels Brock Lawyer Michael Shannon, who specializes in assisting the victims of accidents.
The students received a bike safety workshop, were fitted with new helmets and then posed for a huge group photo.
