Catastrophic Injury

Income Benefits

Income benefits mean that an injured person is entitled to 70% of your gross weekly income, up to a maximum of $400 per week. If they are unemployed at the time of the accident, they may be entitled to a non-earner benefit of $185 per week, payable 6 months after the date of the accident. If they were the primary caregiver for a person in need of care, then $250 per week is entitled (plus $50 per week for each additional person requiring care).
